Terms of Service
Effective October 9, 2026
Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of wedclub, the wedding planning service at wedclub.ph (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Who can use wedclub
You must be at least eighteen (18) years old and able to enter into a binding contract under Philippine law to create an account. If you use wedclub on behalf of a business, such as a coordination company, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms on its behalf.
Your account
- Give accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date.
- Keep your password confidential and do not share your account. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- Tell us right away at support@wedclub.ph if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
- The person who creates an event account is its owner. The owner can invite collaborators and transfer ownership to another member.
Collaborators
You can invite your partner, family members or a coordinator to work on an event with you. Collaborators can view and change that event's planning records, including budgets, guest lists, contracts and payments. Invite only people you trust. If a collaborator should no longer have access, contact us and we will help remove them. Changes a collaborator makes are their responsibility and the responsibility of the owner who invited them.
Your content
You keep ownership of everything you add to wedclub, including event details, guest lists, notes, contracts and other files ("Your Content"). You give us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy, process and display Your Content only as needed to provide the Service to you and your collaborators. This licence ends when Your Content is deleted from the Service, except for copies kept in backups for the period described in the Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for Your Content and confirm that you have the right to upload it. Keep your own copies of important documents such as signed contracts and official receipts.
Personal data of other people
When you add information about your guests, suppliers, venue contacts or collaborators, you confirm that you obtained it lawfully and are entitled to use it for planning your event, and that you will process it in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012. Do not add sensitive personal information about others unless it is necessary and you have a lawful basis to do so. We process this information on your behalf as described in the Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for anything unlawful, fraudulent or harmful, or to violate the rights of others, including their privacy.
- Upload malware or content that is defamatory, obscene, or that infringes intellectual property.
- Try to access accounts, events or data that are not yours, or probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service without our written permission.
- Disrupt or overload the Service, or access it through automated means other than an ordinary web browser.
- Copy, resell or build a competing service from the Service or its content.
- Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited messages.
Suppliers, venues and payments
wedclub is a planning tool. We are not a party to any agreement between you and a venue, supplier or coordinator, and we do not endorse or guarantee them. Any dispute about bookings, services, deposits or refunds is between you and the venue or supplier.
wedclub does not process payments. Budgets, payment schedules, reminders and reports are based on the information you enter and are for your convenience only. Always confirm amounts and due dates against your signed contracts and official receipts.
Price and changes to the Service
wedclub is currently free to use. We may add, change or remove features, and we may introduce paid plans in the future. We will tell you before any charge applies to you, and we will never charge you without your agreement.
Our intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, text and the wedclub name and logo, belongs to wedclub and its licensors and is protected by the Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines and other laws. These Terms do not give you any right to use our name or branding. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.
Ending your use of wedclub
You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account yourself from Settings › Profile, or by emailing privacy@wedclub.ph. Deleting your account permanently removes the accounts you own together with their events. If other people are members of an account you own, you must first make one of them the owner, so their planning records are not lost.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms, puts other users or the Service at risk, or where required by law. Where reasonable, we will give you notice and a chance to export Your Content first.
Disclaimers
We work hard to keep wedclub available and accurate, but the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose, or that reminders will always be delivered. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you have under Philippine consumer protection law that cannot be waived.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, wedclub is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service, including missed payments, bookings or deadlines and disputes with suppliers or venues. Because the Service is provided free of charge, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim, if any. This does not limit liability for fraud, gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be limited under Philippine law, including under the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify wedclub against claims, losses and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from Your Content, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of another person, including their data privacy rights.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Before going to court, please contact us so we can try to resolve the matter informally. Any dispute that cannot be settled amicably will be brought before the proper courts of the Philippines.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when they were last revised. If a change is material, we will notify you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated Terms.
